Gouda Refractories Group acquires International Thermal Refractories
Gouda Refractories Group B.V. with its headquarters in Gouda, the Netherlands (hereinafter referred to as ‘Gouda’) herewith announces that it has acquired International Thermal Refractories located in Lisbon, Portugal (hereinafter referred to as ‘ITR’).
Since the end of 2023, Gouda has been collaborating with ITR to strengthen their joint market position and emphasize their ambition to grow in the installation and maintenance of refractory linings.
ITR is a renowned company specializing in the European refractory industry, with skilled experts and staff dedicated to the installation and maintenance of refractory linings. ITR boasts a team of over 40 highly qualified professionals, each with experience in a wide range of refractory markets, including petrochemicals, non-ferrous metals, cement, and (waste-to-)energy solutions. ITR's expertise in refractory installation is extensive.
The experience, flexibility and stringent adherence to safety protocols, from project initiation to completion, reflect Gouda's ambition and unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and customer service. With the acquisition of ITR, Gouda has added a company to its group with shared objectives and principles in the best interest of our customers.
