Waste incineration

Gouda Refractories has produced and installed refractory linings for both domestic waste incinerators and hazardous waste incinerators since the inception of the first waste incinerators 50 years ago. Gouda has worked closely with our customers on a series of improvements, in this way keeping up with the increasing demands of today’s incinerators.

Our new product line for the hazardous waste incinerators combine excellent resistance against slag attack with optimal temperature shock resistance. Depending on the properties of waste streams, process conditions and type of rotary kiln / SCC, Gouda can engineer, produce and install the best possible refractory lining.

For the domestic waste incinerators Gouda has used its years of experiences to put two concepts together: the concept of using a lining made out of high quality LC castable, and the improved tile concept.
Both systems are designed for an optimal heat transfer even after years of operation. With these two concepts GOUDA can offer the optimal lining for every type of domestic waste incinerator.
